Classroom learning support
Dedicated educational support that helps children understand, participate and build confidence in their school environment.

Understanding the role
A shadow teacher is an educational support professional who works alongside a child in school to improve participation, understanding, confidence, communication and independence.
The support is designed to complement the classroom teacher and school routines. It can help a child feel more settled, understand what is expected and use their own skills with growing confidence.
Ask About SupportEvery teacher goes through a careful screening process to ensure they meet our professional and educational standards before being introduced to your family.
We arrange a Google Meet interview between the selected teacher(s) and the parent. This meeting gives the teacher an opportunity to introduce themselves, discuss their experience, teaching approach, and answer any questions from the family.
The interview also helps ensure that both the teacher and the family are the right fit before moving forward, creating a comfortable and confident learning environment for the child.
